Lost in the Dark World.... by Nani-Mizu Lost in the Dark World.... by Nani-Mizu
Zelda disappeared, sent away and trapped in the darkness by the wizard Agahnim. I tried to get her back, but I was sent there too.... The Dark World's power touches everything, nothing remains in it's once true form, myself included....
Even so, I cannot stay afraid! I need to stand tall and move forward, no matter what comes next!
If there's anyone who can defeat the Dark King and save the world, it has to be the Hero of Light!!

Okay although that was suuuper over dramatic and silly I DON'T CARE, I FREAKIN LOVE LINK TO THE PAST!!!!!! XD :tighthug: :tighthug: :tighthug:
Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past was..... one of the most amazing games I had ever played as a child. Even now as an adult it stands the test of time and I find it hard to put into words exactly how much that game has meant to me over the years. So when the opportunity arose to cosplay from Legend of Zelda, although my first thoughts gravitated to amazing and recognizable characters like Dark Link, Fierce Deity, and Zora Link, I randomly remembered this... obscure moment for like, five minutes when you're stuck as a pink bunny in Link to the Past and my mind was made up.

Regardless of all the negative reactions and comments on this costume during it's debut at SakuraCon (Otafest's positive comments trumped them in spades though, CALGARY PEOPLE, YOU ALL FREAKIN ROCK!!! :glomp:) it's still one of my favorite cosplays and I wouldn't change it for the world. :huggle: Cosplaying something that meant so much to my childhood, it was like a dream come true.

Who knows, now that the sequel to LttP is coming out next month, maybe more people will take the time to play a classic, enjoy it like I did.

Hey...another bunny link cosplayer! I thought I was the only one! :)
Ha!! XD
That's pretty damn entertaining. XD
1. This photo makes me want to run up and give you a big hug!

2. The colours in this shot are absolutely perfect, The pink and green are bright enough to contrast against the grays in the background but not obnoxiously so making the photo feel really organic. ( which is amazing seeing as though you are a giant pink rabbit!! )

3. It is the memories and the realization of your dreams that matters, not the negative comments of others. Besides you are a fantastic cosplayer so I am positive for every negitive comment that was said there were at least  10 other people blown away by your costume and a few more who remembered playing Link to the Past and seeing your costume relived some happy childhood memories.
I love seeing you in this costume because of how happy it makes you <3 You rock that obscure bunny that was only around for five minutes.

People gave it negative remarks??? Link to the past was awesome and Link's first steps into the Dark World were the darkest most dramatic moments in the Zelda series until Twilight Princess (which was made for a slightly older audience).
Hahahaha, yeah, people really gave me crap for this cosplay, more than any other I've made.

Most times it was just people who didn't know who I was so they would make nasty comments or quips about not being a 'cannon universe Link' or calling me a 'bad fanfiction'. Hell, one guy actually got confrontational with me and started yelling in my face because he didn't want me in the picture with the other Links. :o

But whaaaatever, I love Bunny Link and at the end of the day, that's all I really need. :)

Don't ever let go of your love for Bunny was a great moment in the series, I still remember that was the first really adult theme I came across as a young lad, I remember the scene well...with the mountains that looked like pancakes with syrup flowing from them....and the young kid being eternally bullied....great stuff.
